Updated this year the FOX 36 is available with either the GRIP X2 or GRIP X damper. 2025 FOX Float 36 forks are offered in 27.5″ or 29″ chassis in 150 or 160mm travel. While the FOX 38 has taken over the full tilt enduro rider many aggressive trail and light enduro riders will find the FOX 36 fork fits their riding style. FOX 36 Details

For 2025 the FOX 36 lineup offers riders two dampers.

Replacing the GRIP2 for maximum tune-ability, with HSC, LSC, HSR and LSR riders find an upgrade with the FOX GRIP X2. FOX went no holds barred with this damper increasing the valve base diameter and more than tripling the valve stack as well as revising the overall architecture to decrease the damper’s reaction to rider and trail input. Aggressive, larger or riders with high ground speeds will gravitate to the GRIP X2 option.

For a more all-around feel, that fork that’s capable of aggressive trail and light enduro without sacrificing all its mellow trail manners – as well as having a climb switch – riders find the new GRIP X damper. This damper provides HSC, LSC and LSR. Lots of tuning range while coming in lighter than the GRIP X2 and previous GRIP2 damper. The GRIP X has notably more feel and capacity than the earlier FIT4 option while still retaining the often sought after climb switch.
