Ibis Ripmo V2 NX Complete Pics & Weight
Ibis Ripmo V2 NX Build
The new Ibis Ripmo V2 features revised geometry including a slacker head tube angle. With the more linear DW Suspension the Ripmo can now be run with a coil shock as well. However, many clients will still enjoy the ultimate tuning capacity of air shocks like this Fox Factory Float X2. (You may find yourself running a bit more volume spacing in the air shock to compensate for the linear suspension design. But you may like the more plush feel too!)
This build highlights the value offered from Ibis. Building on the NX platform this client has upgraded to factory suspension front and rear as well as Magura MT5 brakes.
Down the line carbon handlebars or an upgraded drivetrain are common upgrades.
One really amazing factor of the Ripmo V2 NX Complete is it’s weight. It’s competitively light, particularly when you look at the no holds barred Maxxis Assegai tires front and rear.
There are a lot of more expensive options on the market that weigh in past the 31.6lbs the Ripmo NX comes in at.
