New Alchemy Arktos 29 Detail Shots
Check out some detail pics of the new Alchemy Arktos 29
Fresh from the 2018 Sea Otter Classic Downhill here are some detail pics of BikeCo Pro Rider Anneke Beerten’s newest bike!
The new Alchemy Arktos 29 features 140mm (5.5″) of rear suspension typically with a 160mm fork for more aggressive riding. To improve fore and aft balance under power the Arktos 29 features a 74.5 degree seat tube with a 66 degree headtube angle.
The rear end of the bike is designed for ultimate responsiveness, stiffness and chainline accommodation with 157mm Super Boost Rear End. Chain stay length is 438.5mm.
Sine Suspension is provides excellent performance up and downhill. The new Arktos 29 has a custom adapter to run a chain guide for the burliest riding.
The latest ENVE M730 offer their exclusive protective rim strips for ultimate defense from ground strikes.
Alchemy Factory Racers Anneke Beerten and Cody Kelley launched the latest Enve cockpits at Sea Otter as well!
So, custom, it’s kind of a big deal… Love the options from Alchemy in paint (and our custom decal options here at BikeCo as well!)
Water bottle cage mounts and downtube protectors are an awesome addition to the Alchemy Arktos.
Tire setup is critical in any race. For Sea Otter’s downhill 2.5″ WT Minion DHF paired with 2.3″ Aggressor rear provided an excellent balance of grip as well as speed. The Arktos 29 will clear most 2.5″ tires in the rear as well.
Really going racing? Time to maximize your gear range with small clusters!
