Who Rides the Oso
The Ibis Oso is an All Mountain / Enduro eMTB featuring 155mm of rear travel paired with 170mm of fork travel. Ibis has taken the suspension options on the Oso to the next level building a bike compatible with select coil options. Further, riders looking for “more” can have the rear shock stroke modified to 65mm to increase rear travel to 170mm. The Oso is approved for single or dual crown forks from 170-190mm travel.
Another notable improvement is an integrated BOSCH controller in the top tube with a low profile wireless mini remote to control the BOSCH CX Performance motor with 750wh Powertube.
Ibis has spec’d size specific wheel options for the Oso. Small and Medium bikes feature MX, or mixed or mullet depending on the term you like, wheels with a 29″ front and a 27.5″ rear tire option. Large and Extra Large riders find 29″ tires front and rear on the Oso.
The Oso is available in a GX AXS Transmission complete. This is a great option for an aggressive eMTB like the Oso as the SRAM Transmission drivetrains are the strongest and longest lasting on the market.

Description
A whole new sport calls for a whole new bike. The full-carbon-fiber Oso features a dw-link rear suspension that optimizes efficiency and control, pairing 155mm of rear travel with 170mm up front. Powered by a Bosch Performance Line CX motor and a 750 Wh battery, the Oso delivers exceptional performance on any terrain—making every ride feel like it’s downhill both ways.
Ibis updated it’s eMTB Oso with some notable improvements. The BOSCH controller is now integrated into the top tub with a wireless mini remote. Also, Ibis has approved “over-stroking” the rear shock to 65mm to increase the rear travel to 170mm from 155mm if a rider desires. The Oso is approved for forks from 170-190mm in single or dual crown configurations.
