Mondraker takes immense pride in crafting exceptional bikes, and the new Crafty Carbon exemplifies this commitment. With five builds featuring lightweight carbon fiber frames, only the R and RR models utilize a rear triangle constructed from Mondraker’s innovative Stealth Alloy aluminum. Designed to push your limits, the Crafty Carbon is equipped with beefy 38mm stanchion forks and 2.6″ tires across all models, while the RR SL model focuses on performance with a 36mm fork and 2.5″ tires. Each build is outfitted with powerful 4-piston brakes, 200/203mm rotors, and dropper posts ranging from 140mm to 210mm, tailored to your frame size. Plus, Mondraker’s new intermediate ML frame size fine-tunes their Forward Geometry, giving riders of all heights a perfect fit for an unparalleled riding experience.

Crafty Carbon
The Mondraker Crafty Carbon eMTB is a carbon frame with 150mm of rear travel paired with 160mm or 170mm fork. Keep reading to compare Mondraker Crafty Carbon builds as well as learn about common upgrades and part swaps to the Crafty Carbon bikes.
Some of the updates to the 2025 Crafty Carbon include:

The Crafty Carbon now features a 64.5 degree headtube angle. Perfect geo for aggressive riding. This is a bike at home in burly trail riding adventures to enduro attacks.
Four kits are available from Mondraker for the Crafty Carbon. The Crafty Carbon R (Black/Nimbus Grey), Crafty Carbon RR (Earth Red/Black), Crafty Carbon RR S (Black/Bunker Grey), Crafty Carbon XR (Mars Black), and Crafty Carbon RR SL (Carrera Blue).

eMTB bikes like the Mondraker Crafty Carbon are sized from rider height as well as leg and arm length. Riders who find their height in the cross-over of sizes will determine the better size based typically on inseam, flexibility and riding style.
Those with longer legs tend to upsize to improve riding position. This will increase the wheelbase and produce a bike with a bit more overall speed capacity. Going to a larger size will produce a ride that isn’t quite as snappy as a smaller option would be.
Riders with longer torsos or looking for a more “poppy” trail feel will tend to downsize. Although, with modern MTB frames designed to accommodate increased dropper post lengths riders who prefer the added wheelbase may upsize – so long as the reach doesn’t compromise stem size availability or put a rider “too far”” over the front wheel.
