DUNE is the last word in Mondraker’s light ebike range. Taking after the NEAT in some key aspects such as lightness and agility, it takes a different path by offering power and performance similar to longer travel, burlier bikes like the SUPERFOXY and LEVEL. Description
The Mondraker Dune lineup is found in the light eMTB offerings. The Dune is a factory designed Mullet with a 29″ front wheel paired to a 27.5″ rear wheel. This gives the bike more capacity in the tight, steep sections on your descents using the smaller rear tire for quick direction changes. At the same time the 29″ front wheel provides more forgiveness with improved roll over and comfortable steering input.
As a light eMTB the Mondraker Dune has an overall more traditional look with a slightly smaller battery and power unit. Each of the Mondraker Dune builds features the BOSCH Performance Line SX Gen4 SMART SYSTEM (20 mph), the BOSCH Kiox 500 display as well as the BOSCH Compact Powertube 400Wh battery.
Riders find a 64 degree headtube angle on the Dune, a half degree slacker than the 64.5 degree headtube angle on the Mondraker Neat. Both the Dune and Neat are slacker than its larger battery cousin the Crafty Carbon or Crafty. The Dune bike is at home in burly trail riding adventures and your enduro attacks, even into slightly bigger all mountain adventures.
