Riders shopping the FOX Float have options in both Small Volume (SV) and Large Volume (LV) air cans. While a few bikes may have fitment concerns this option is more about how riders can expect the ramp rate to feel.

Riders at the longer end of the FOX Float eye to eye and stroke range will often consider the more trail oriented FOX Float X while riders looking for the most XC option shop the FOX Float SL as well.

Why Riders Choose BikeCo.com for Suspension

There are many reasons riders choose to purchase suspension from BikeCo.com. Two of the most notable are our proprietary BikeCo Pro Tune services available on FOX products as well as our unbeatable after-sales service and setup availability.

FOX forks and shocks have distinguished themselves as class leaders across all MTB disciplines. With a wide range of dampers, adjustments, travel options as well as chassis riders have options to dial in their bike. But, working with BikeCo.com you’ll get more out of your new fork or shock and it’s something the competition simply can’t offer: Access to our team’s combined expertise on setup and tuning.

Modern suspension offers a range of adjustments. PSI, Volume Spacing, Compression – possibly High and Low Speed as well as Rebound – again possibly high and low speed.

While many manufacturers offer basic setup points the magic is being able to fine tune the fork or shock to accommodate your riding specifics. Working with the team at BikeCo.com riders are able to more quickly dial in a setup as well as understand where their setup is likely to advance as riding speeds and confidence increase.

Clients purchasing Suspension products from BikeCo.com will take delivery with a personalized setup sheet with suggestions for a starting point (as well as somewhere to come back to if you decide to spin all the knobs during your setup pedal in front of the house!).

Our team will then reach out at intervals with questions to help us understand how the fork or shock works for your individual riding. These intervals are designed to allow you a couple rides to quantify your impressions and then readdress minor changes to the setup. Of course, our team is available at any point in between if you have questions on your suspension.

Since 1999 BikeCo’s suspension experts have worked with a wide range of riders. From World Cup Level Pros to brand new riders. With this experience we are unmatched at setting up bikes performance, so the rider isn’t fighting the tune but simply concentrating on riding the trail.

Our team works together with our suspension tuners and BikeCo owner Joe Binatena to ensure clients get the best setup and tune concepts in the industry.

We will help you define how one adjustment may effect another setting as well as help you understand how your suspension is interacting with other components. Don’t get lost spinning dials when you can work with the best and have a thorough understanding, or simply someone to tell you which dials to turn if you’re that rider!

PSI, Ramp Rate, High and Low Speed Compression, High and Low Speed Rebound, Cockpit Setup, Brake Setup, Tire Pressures and Sidewalls, Riding Positions, Terrain – a lot of things going into really dialing in how your bike feels through the chunk, into corners and under power.

With experts working in your corner why would you shop MTB or eMTB Suspension anywhere but BikeCo.com?

Want to take your FOX Suspension to the next level? Why not have a personalized tune to provide a better setup range based on your specifics?

BikeCo Pro Tune Suspension

  • FOX Pro Tunes by BikeCo.com

Take your riding to the next level with a proprietary suspension tune from BikeCo.com on your FOX fork or rear shock.

  • FOX Suspension is an acknowledged class leader across all MTB and eMTB disciplines. But, FOX is building suspension for the masses and BikeCo is Pro Tuning that suspension for you!

What's that mean? FOX suspension is designed with a functional range for nearly any size rider with any skill set. This means even with many clicks of adjustment you might find it a little tough to find the perfect sweet spot. When you have suspension that has to accommodate riders that may be twice the size of each other and with huge variations of confidence, riding style and speed that's not a knock on FOX, it's just a reality.

BikeCo Pro Tune Suspension takes the unbeatable FOX performance and narrows the performance window based on your specifics. Size, riding style, terrain, aspirations, aggresion and ground speed as well as what bike you're riding all go into our BikeCo Pro Tune design considerations.

Our Pro Tune services include a range of proprietary lube and damper oil selections additive packages for performance across a wide range of altitude and temperatures based on your weight and riding style. Custom internal tuning considerations are used also based on the end user (none of which compromise your warranty). Improved damper bleeds, upper and lower fitment considerations, etc - all gained from years of working with the faster racers at the highest level and adapting them for every level of rider.

In fact, while named Pro Tune it's often newer riders who benefit most from having tuned suspension (and having access to the BikeCo team to help them fine tune the setup). Why try to learn to ride AND fight a poor setup? Poor setup hinders rider advancement, confidence and fun. Don't tolerate that!

BikeCo Pro Tune services are available on new or used FOX forks and shocks. If you're purchasing new suspension we offer a price incentive at time of purchase for up to 6 months after your purchase!

More questions? No problem. Contact our team for more details on these tuning options. Remeber, #EveryClickCounts
