Brian Lopes Ibis Ripmo XTR 12sp
The new Shimano XTR 12sp produces an amazing gearing range. The understated black large three cogs make it look like you’re rocking a DH cassette from a distance. Truly disheartening to anyone you’re dropping on a climb… hahaha…
Single collar ODI grips allow Brian to confidently run his hands to the outside of the bars. New 4 piston Shimano XTR brakes handle the stopping duties. Renthal Fatbar Carbon Lite handblebars and Apex stem as well as X-Fusion fork join to the frame with a Chris King headset.
The X-Fusion Manic adjustable post offers riders great value as well as function. The Manic remote is one of the most adjustable options in MTB allowing riders to place it where they lose the least amount of grip on the bar.
I always love images of crisp Chris King accessories. Modern carbon fiber frames are extremely strong, however they don’t like having things driven in and out repetitively. Buy King and call it done for the lifespan of the frame.
The new 4 piston XTR brakes are designed to balance power with weight. The revised radiator fins on the brake pads increase cooling surface area for better heat capacity.
