Ibis DV9 Geometry

The DV9 is offered in Small through X-Large and designed for rides from 5′ 0″ to 6′ 5″ in height.

Along with height DV9 riders will want to compare sizes based on inseam and arm length as well. Riders on the sizing cusp will reference leg length to help determine the ideal sizing.

Another thing to take into account sizing a hardtail like the DV9 is what your intended use is and will you be able to get your cockpit setup in an ideal position. If you’re building a more playful, confident DV9 you’ll want to keep your stem and bars in a more trail or even enduro type setup. Shorter stem, often with higher rise bars. For a more “racy” build a slightly longer stem with lower bars will likely be a more ideal positioning.

Wondering which bike provides you the best fit? Our expert team is here to help you define how your size, riding style, terrain and aspirations will effect your ideal sizing. Reach out to our team about your Ibis DV9 purchase by chat, email or phone!

The Exie USA GX Transmission Kit is a wireless build marrying the proven reliability of SRAM’s AXS technology, and the trickle-down performance of the XX SL kit’s shifting performance, all for a more competitive price.

For many years, GX components have been known for their reliability and performance, at a slight weight penalty. GX Transmission now provides an even better balance of performance and price for riders everywhere.

Occasionally riders will upgrade to an XX or equivalent chain, or XX carbon cranks. The chain can provide a cleaner, stealthy look, with moderate performance gains. The cranks have a good reduction in weight to offer which makes this upgrade popular. Other than these upgrades, the GX transmission kit for the Exie USA is quite well rounded, and leaves very little to be desired from the start.

As the maximum rear tire is listed as 2.4″ few riders will be looking for wider rim options than the 29mm stock option.

Bike Co is most commonly building Exie wheelsets on Chris King, i9, or DT Swiss hubsets. We’ll then pair based off what the rider is looking for an offering from Nox Composites, DT Swiss, or the Ibis S28 Carbon offering makes a great option as well.

Ibis offers the Exie USA in its top tier build kits. So what are the differences? Let’s take a look at the spec of the individual XT, GX AXS Transmission and XX SL AXS Transmission bikes. We’ll also identify some common areas of part swaps and upgrades to the Exie USA builds.

Let’s dive into the Exie USA XT, GX Transmission and XX SL Transmission builds from Ibis.

Ibis USA Carbon Fiber & FOX Factory Suspension

All three of the Exie USA  builds feature the USA made carbon fiber Exie frame as well as FOX Factory suspension.

As a bike that can be raced at the top levels of Cross Country competition it makes sense to see the fork and shock have remote lockout options.

The Exie USA features the FOX Float DPS with Remote as a rear shock. Shock dimensions are 190x45mm. With a quick click riders can lock out the rear shock for ultimate power transfer.

Along with the remote shock Exie USA riders find a FOX StepCast Factory Series 34 FIT4 Remote fork at 120mm travel. This is an excellent balance for the Remote DPS allowing riders to quickly change the fork compression for terrain variations.

Exie USA Suspension Upgrades

The most common suspension upgrade is riders taking advantage of our BikeCo Pro Tune service. This produces a fork and shock with the performance windows narrowed to a rider’s specifics.  This makes every click of adjustment more impactful for the end user.

Chat with our sales team about the advantages of a personalized suspension tune on the Exie for both race and pleasure riding. You’ll be stoked you did!

Key Ibis Exie USA Kit Differences

The Exie USA is available in Shimano XT kit as well as two wireless shifting SRAM Transmission build kits.

Shimano XT Kit

Shimano bikes are known for their crisp shifting. Both the SLX and XT bikes feature 12sp drivetains with 10-51t cassettes.

XT components are slightly lighter than their SLX counterparts. The XT bits also feature slightly more exotic materials for both weight saving and service life.

Handlebar and stem are other differences in the build. XT builds provide Ibis’ carbon handlebar and i9 stems.

The Exie USA XT build is the Ibis factory cable driven option (although we can do custom or semi-custom SRAM cable or XTR builds if you’re interested).

SRAM GX Transmission and XX SL Transmission

The new SRAM Transmission drivetrain are the strongest and longest lasting options on the market.

Coming in slightly lighter the XX SL Transmission kit is the top tier option available for the Exie USA.

The XX Transmission bikes also feature Industry Nine Hydra hubs laced to Ibis S28 carbon rims. This is available as well on the GX Transmission kit as a factory upgrade option.

Another spec difference is found in adjustable seatposts. The XX Transmission features the wireless SRAM Reverb AXS while the GX Transmission kit is spec’d with a cable driven seatpost.

The GX and XX kits are rather close and we’ll see clients on each side of the fence with these builds taking advantage of the overall weight savings, or sometimes preferring the cost savings on the GX Transmission (especially as many riders will be upgrading to custom wheels – more on that on the next tab!).

Common Ibis Exie USA Part Swaps and Upgrades

Ibis Exie USA Upgrades and Swaps

If you’re shopping the Exie USA you know you want exactly what you want. And at BikeCo.com we love that. Let’s get that bike absoltuely dialed. Maybe you want the perfect XC race machine. Perhaps you’re looking for the perfect set of color highlights to the Exie USA frame. Maybe you want as many USA made products as you can on the Exie. BikeCo.com has you covered.

All three available Exie USA kits are well spec’d from Ibis. Still, it’s common on a bike at this level to expect the perfect setup and fit. So we’ll see a lot of part swaps and upgrades along those lines in the Exie USA XT, GX Transmission and XX SL Transmission bikes.

Common Exie USA Upgrades

So what are the most common areas for client’s to swap or upgrade on the Ibis Exie USA builds? Here are a handful of common areas we see client’s highlight.

Suspension

Nearly all of the Exie USA builds that go out take advantage of our BikeCo Pro Tune Suspension. When you’re purchasing a USA made, let’s face it – a special bike, why wouldn’t you want the fork and shock dialed for you?

Have our team work with you to produce the best riding suspension on the market. We take FOX’s unbeatable performance and narrow the window based on rider specifics. These include size, ground speed, terrain, aspirations, etc, etc. Wondering how a Pro Tune fork and shock will improve your particular riding? Chat with our team today and we’ll help identify areas that our Pro Tune service will improve.

Rider Contact Points

Riders typically have a go-to grip and pedal preference.

We can provide a range of grips with variable patterns, technology and shape to improve your riding. There might even be a grip in a color to set off your Exie USA’s Cyan Sky, Sage Green or Tangerine Burst colorway.

Tires

Another preference riders develop is “must-have” tire spec. This is one of the most common swaps on builds from any manufacturer. With notable performance differences between tread pattern, compound and sidewall lets make sure we get you on the perfect tire setup.

Exie USA riders aren’t all XC racers. Some may prefer a more robust tire setup for bigger trail terrain. Others might enjoy heavier sidewalls for improved damping. A lot of personality is found in your bikes tires. Let’s get you on the right tires right out of the box.

Maybe you want for rim protection? We have that covered too. Riders with carbon rims on their Exie USA pleasure builds may look at a CushCore XC for the rear wheel in particular.

Cockpit

A common swap or upgrade to Ibis Factory Spec bikes are the handlebars and stem. Many riders swap to a 35mm diameter combo over the stock 31.8mm options.

Getting the fit correct is important to your Exie USA’s performance. Handlebar rise and overall stiffness also improve the personalization and performance of your bike. Looking for suggestions? We have the best in the market from OneUp, Tag, Renthal and Raceface.

Chat with our team about hand positioning, carbon versus aluminum as well as advantages of the right handlebar rise on your new rig.

Brakes

This is one of the most common swaps or upgrades on any bike. Brakes that compliment your riding style and preference make a huge difference on trail. We offer class leading options in a variety of price points from Hope, Magura, Shimano and TRP.

Shimano brakes are very popular and are spec’d on several of the build options. Shimano brakes have good overall power with quick lever throw. This produces a brake with a strong feel.

TRP brakes are similar to the Shimano lineup. The TRP brakes provide a touch more overall power and extra modulation compared to Shimano offerings.

Riders who prefer a bit more modulation or “feel” to their brakes gravitate towards Hope and Magura.

The latest Hope Tech 4 updates have improved their power. This puts the Hope Tech 4 in the Shimano and Magura range for overall power while retaining the excellent modulation Hope has been known for.

Magura brakes are the most frequent swap or upgrade across all Ibis builds. Riders who appreciate modulation and power will find Magura excellent in both aspects. Magura offers models with across a wide price range allowing budget friendly swaps or upgrades. Riders looking for the most adjustability or tuning for their brakes will shop the MT7 with HC3 levers.

Custom Wheels

Along with Pro Tune Suspension Custom Wheels are the most common upgrade we see on Exie USA builds.

BikeCo’s hand-built custom wheels allow riders to spec a rim, spoke and hub combination as well as build specifics for the ultimate performance.

Ibis’ narrower carbon rim is a popular option as well as NOX or DT Swiss carbon offerings.

Riders also will find traction from using the right spokes and build techniques. Our team will help you define this at time of purchase to ensure you maximize performance and longevity.

USA made hubs from Chris King and Industry Nine are often spec’d on Ibis Exie USA builds. All of these hubs are available in a range of colors to highlight your build.

More about Pro Tune Suspension

Take your bike’s performance to the next level with our proprietary Pro Tune Suspension. Our team will custom tune your FOX fork and rear shock and narrow the performance from the FOX Factory range to a more precise setup designed for your riding style, aggression, ground speed, size and terrain.

This is one of the biggest upgrades to any bike – having the suspension dialed in as well as having a resource like BikeCo to help you fine tune the bike at time of delivery and as your riding speeds increase!

BikeCo Pro Tune Suspension – because Every Click Counts.

Exie USA Suspension Details

The Exie USA features suspension you’d expect to see on an XC race capable bike. Both the FOX Factory DPS as well as the Step-Cast FOX Factory 34 FIT4 feature remote compression controls. This allows riders to quickly lock out both front and rear suspension.

Along with the remote compression controls both the fork and shock provide rebound and volume spacing as well as air spring PSI to fine tune performance.

Exie USA Suspension Upgrade

The most popular upgrade to the Exie USA suspension is our proprietary Pro Tune service.

Since an XC bike by nature has less travel its’ even more critical to have the suspension’s performance as dialed in as possible.

BikeCo Pro Tune Suspension

Take your bike’s performance to the next level with our Pro Tune Suspension services.

FOX has the best suspension on the market – but why not make it even better? At BikeCo our suspension team will narrow the performance band of the stock suspension based on your size, riding style, ground speed, aspirations and terrain.

The abridged version? FOX is build for every rider size at every riding speed. You’re not every rider! Chat with our team about how BikeCo Pro Tune suspension will take your riding to the next level. Because Every Click Counts.

Ibis Exie USA Geometry

The Exie USA is offered in Small, Medium, Large and X-Large. Riders from 5’0″ to 6’5″ options on the Exie USA frame.

Like other bikes Ibis shows their height crossover to be about an inch per size. For instance the Medium lists 5′ 3″ to 5′ 8″ riders while the Large typically fits 5′ 7″ to 6’1″ riders.

This is a good starting point, but isn’t the be all and end all to sizing your Exie USA.

Ibis bikes like the Exie USA are sized based rider height as well as leg and arm length. Riders who find their height in the cross-over of sizes will determine the better size based typically on inseam, flexibility and riding style.

Those with longer legs tend to upsize to improve riding position. This will increase the wheelbase and produce a bike with a bit more overall speed capacity that isn’t quite as snappy as a smaller option would be.

Riders with longer torsos or looking for a more “poppy” trail feel will tend to downsize. Although, with modern MTB frames designed to accommodate increased dropper post lengths riders who prefer the added wheelbase may upsize – so long as the reach doesn’t compromise stem size availability or put a rider “too far” over the front wheel.

If this is your first real XC type machine remember that Reach and Stack should be viewed together. The taller stack on an XC bike results in a “shorter” reach measurement but often has a comparable cockpit fit to a longer reach and lower stack Enduro style geometry.

Wondering which bike provides you the best fit? Our expert team is here to help you define how your size, riding style, terrain and aspirations will effect your ideal sizing.

GX Transmission Suspension Details

The FOX Factory 34 fork and DPS rear shock are a great spec for the GX Transmission Ripley.

FOX’s Float 34 GRIP2 has high speed and low speed adjustments for both rebound and compression. The GRIP2 damper is ideal for aggressive riders or those looking for maximum tune range. Riders looking for a more XC personality often swap dampers to the FIT4 option. Debating which damper or fork length is right for your riding? No problem. Our team is here to help you define which option will fit best with your terrain, aspirations and build.

FOX Factory DPS shocks feature rebound, a climb switch as well as three low speed compression settings for the Open mode. Some riders investigate the FOX Float X for a slightly more aggressive shock, however, the timeline on the Float X 190x45mm has been hit or miss.

Ripley Suspension Upgrade

Nearly equally popular are the BikeCo Pro Tune service, for fork and shock, as well as a 140mm fork option for the Ripley.

BikeCo Pro Tunes shift the performance window of the fork and shock narrowing them based on your riding specifics.

The 140mm fork option gives the Ripley a slightly slacker headtube angle and higher bottom bracket. This is popular for riders pushing deeper into the Enduro riding style or those who prefer a bit slower handling.

Wondering if a 140mm Ibis Ripley is right for you? Our team is here to help you define how the geo shift from the 130mm fork gives the Ripley a bit more capacity for bigger terrain and speed.

GX Transmission Wheel and Tire Details

The stock wheels on the GX Transmission build are 35mm internal width Blackbird Send rims laced to Ibis hubs. This is a great high volume, maximum traction alloy setup. A common upgrade for riders looking for a high volume carbon option is the Ibis Carbon rim with Industry Nine hub offered from the Factory.

Prefer another option? You want the absolutely perfect Ripley build?

Custom wheels are a great way to fine tune the look and performance of your RIpley. Many riders upgrade to hub systems such as Chris King, Industry Nine or Onyx. BikeCo highlights great aluminum rims from WTB, RideFast or Factor. We also have class leading carbon rim options.

Carbon rims improve power transfer and tracking. Rims from NOX or Ibis are available in wide or narrow rim widths to suit your riding. BikeCo has unbeatable in-house wheel builders. Carbon or aluminum. Medium or high volume. We know what wheel will compliment your riding. Our custom wheel builds provide riders tuned performance to improve traction and power transfer.

Ripley Tire Swaps and Upgrades

Swapping the tires is common on the Ibis Ripley. The Ripley GX Transmission tire spec is on the aggressive side for a down-country and trail oriented bike.

The factory spec front tire is the Maxxis Minion DHR II with EXO sidewall. The DHR II is a tire many riders will like as a front option. It has a bit more braking capacity than the Minion DHF. The DHF is a faster rolling option and available in EXO, EXO Plus as well as Double down sidewalls.

While some riders swap the front tire, most will consider swapping the Dissector spec’d in the rear. The two most common tires found on the rear of the Ripley are the Maxxis Minion DHR II or the Maxxis Aggressor. Both of these are faster rolling than the Dissector. Riders have a range of sidewalls and widths between the DHR II and the Aggressor for a rear tire.

Already have a favorite tire combo? Let’s get you dialed in. Tires are a very personal feel and if you prefer an EXO Plus rear, or a Double Down front, or a DHF, Dissector, Aggressor, whatever – let’s get you setup right, right out of the box.

Looking for rim protection? We have you covered there too. Chat with our team to get CushCore Pro or XC rim protection installed before delivery.

35mm diameter cockpits are frequent upgrades to the Ibis cockpit. Options from OneUp, Tag, Renthal and RaceFace are available in a variety of rises to fine tune your fit. Handlebars have various levels of compliance. Getting a bar right for your weight and riding style goes a long way to improving your trail experience.

Brakes are an important factor in your bike’s overall personality.

Popular Brake Swaps & Upgrades to the Ibis Ripley GX Transmission

BikeCo offers the best brakes from Shimano, TRP, Hope and Magura.

Riders looking for great power with snappy performance gravitate to Shimano SLX, XT and XTR brakes.

TRP offers even a little more power with slightly improved modulation compared to Shimano.

With the Tech 4 Hope has increased their total power in-line with Shimano and Magura without compromising their amazing modulation.

Magura continues to be the most popular aftermarket brake, especially installed on new builds. We will credit you for any part swaps and with the variety of Magura price points most riders find the MT5 and MT7 brakes provide unbeatable value. Magura brakes offer great total power and top tier modulation without feeling soft. Magura offers a variety of brake levers to help riders fine tune their performance.

FOX Factory 160mm GRIP2 fork as well as a Factory Float X2 rear shock are spec’d on the Ripmo GX Transmission kit.

FOX Factory forks and shocks not only feature the most sophisticated FOX dampers but also include the iconic Kashima Coat.

Both fork and shock feature high and low speed compression as well as high and low speed rebound settings. This means the FOX 38 GRIP2 fork as well as the FOX Factory X2 have the ultimate available adjustments for the widest range of riders.

Ripmo Suspension Upgrade

Looking for just a bit more “thump” in your Ripmo? Why not look into the 170mm fork option?

The additional travel increases the axle to crown which modifies the geo. Geo shifts include a slightly slacker headtube angle, increased trail measurement, and taller bottom bracket height.

SRAM’s new T-Type wireless drivetrain is an obvious highlight to the Ripmo GX Transmission build.

Along with the ease of setup and tuning the new SRAM Transmission has other notable advantages. Notably the T-Type drivetrain is longer lasting and stronger than anything previously on the market.

If you’re shopping wireless shifting, or looking for an easier way to keep your bike shifting perfect the SRAM Transmission systems are on your short list.

The GX Transmission components tend to be slightly heavier with less exotic materials compared to the X01 and XX Transmission kits.

GX Transmission Wheel and Tire Details

The Ripmo GX Transmission build is spec’d with the popular Blackbird Send alloy rims laced to Ibis logo hubs. This is a great set of wheels for riders who appreciate the 35mm internal rim width and the additional tire volume that comes with it.

Some riders may prefer slightly narrower rims. Narrower rims decrease the overall tire volume which will require a slightly higher PSI. However, the narrower rims will modify the tire’s mounted shape giving it more grip deeper into your cornering.

One isn’t “right or wrong” – but riders tend to have a preference. Looking for a narrower option? We have you covered.

We handbuild wheels using hubs from industry leaders like Chris King, Industry Nine, Onyx and Factor.

Our wheels are built using a range of the best rims in MTB. Prefer aluminum rims like the WTB, RideFast or Factor? Or are you shopping the improved power transfer and tracking of carbon like NOX or Ibis Carbon rims?

At BikeCo.com our expert wheel builders have you covered. Carbon or aluminum. Medium or high volume. We know what wheel will compliment your riding.

The Maxxis Assegai 2.5″ EXO Plus front and rear is a burly tire combo. The Ripmo is a bike at home in burly terrain so the tire spec make sense. However, some riders may prefer faster rolling option like the Minion DHF front or a DHR II or Aggressor rear. Depending on riding style and size we see everything from EXO, EXO Plus to Double Down tires spec’d on Ripmos.

Have a favorite tire combo? Let’s get you dialed in. Tires are a very personal feel and if you prefer an EXO Plus rear, or a Double Down front, or a DHF, Dissector, Aggressor, whatever – let’s get you setup right, right out of the box.

Looking for rim protection? We have you covered there too. Chat with our team to get CushCore Pro or XC rim protection installed before delivery.

GX Transmission Cockpit & Brakes Details

The Ripmo GX Transmission features Ibis HiFi carbon handlebar paired with an Industry Nine A318 stem. Given the differences in rider size and style it is common to see upgrades or swaps here for fit.

Maybe you have a preferred grip / bar / stem? Let’s dial you in and get it on the bike at time of purchase.

What is the most common cockpit upgrade or swap? We setup many riders to 35mm options. BikeCo has the best in 35mm diameter carbon handlebars. Bars from OneUp, Tag, Renthal and RaceFace are popular.

All of these bars are available in a selection of rises to fine tune your fit. Taller riders will see greater rise to get their hands in a proper location. If your bars sit too low the bike will want to “suck” under you in the steeps. Too high and you’ll lose some front end traction. Just right is, well, just right!

Different bars have varying levels of designed compliance. This can be particularly important if you’re trimming your bars down. As you trim the bar you’ll change the leverage ratio. So, if you’re trimming a bar down notably you don’t want to start with an overly stiff bar or you’ll have a teeth rattler!

Spec’ing a bar right for your weight and riding style goes a long way to improving your trail experience. Chat with our team for details on handlebar setup differences for your MTB.

Just like handlebars your MTB Brakes are critical to your bikes personality. Getting the right brake for your riding style will improve your trail experience.

Popular Brake Swaps & Upgrades to the Ibis Ripmo GX Transmission

BikeCo provides the best brakes from Shimano, TRP, Hope and Magura.

Ibis Ripmo Geo

Ibis Ripmo geometry details as well as comparisons with other class leading Enduro bikes are on these tabs.

Available in Small, Medium, Large and X-Large the Ibis Ripmo has nearly every rider covered. The Ripmo Medium and Large frames have dimensions like the wheelbase, reach and standover closer than comparing the S to M or L to XL.

The stock 160mm fork produces a 64.9 degree headtube angle with a 341mm bottom bracket. Riders looking for a little more may gravitate to the 170mm fork option for a slightly slacker headtube and increased trail measurement.

The Ripmo fit is dependent on rider height as well as leg and arm length. Riders with notably longer or short legs may up or down size. If you find yourself between sizes chat with our team about fit details. We can help you define which size will give you a more confident fit and feel for your riding terrain and style.

The Ibis Oso GX Transmission build features a FOX Performance Float 38 fork with a GRIP damper.

The rear shock is a FOX Performance Elite X2. The Performance Elite utilizes the same damper as the FOX Factory X2 but with the black ano shock shaft.

A very popular upgrade to the Oso GX Transmission is to swap the GRIP damper for a GRIP2 damper. This creates essentially a Performance Elite fork. Like the rear shock a Performance Elite fork provides high and low speed compression as well as rebound settings. These four adjustments as well as volume spacing produce the widest setup range available.

Ibis Oso Geometry

Learn more about the Ibis Oso GX Transmission Build geometry on the tabs below.

Ibis Oso Geo

For Oso geometry details or to compare the Oso with other class leading Enduro e-bikes use these tabs.

The Ibis Oso GX Transmission Build is available in sizes Small, Medium, Large and X-Large. As the Small and Medium are Mullet bikes, 29 front and 27.5 rear wheels while the Large and X-Large are 29 front and rear riders between Medium and Large have personality differences as well as sizing variations.

With a 64 degree headtube angle across all sizes the steering performance and trail measurements are well behaved regardless of size. The effective seat tube angle varies across the sizes as the saddle moves further from the bottom bracket. This gives the Oso a well balanced position for technical climbing.

Standover between the Large and X-Large is similar however the seattube length and top tube have expected differences.

Like most enduro bikes the Oso fit is going to be based around riders height, inseam, shoulder width and arm width.

Inseam and leg length make a large difference in sizing options. Longer legs typically will upsize while riders with longer torsos will review saddle height, stack and reach to determine which size will fit their riding styles.

Questions on sizing? Get in touch with our team and we are happy to go over your details to ensure we get you on the right size bike for your riding!

GX AXS Transmission Wheel and Tire Details

Ibis spec’s the Blackbird Send with Ibis hubs for the HD6 GX Transmission build. These are great wheels for riders looking at higher volume options. Many riders investigate the Ibis carbon wheel upgrade featuring i9 Hydra hubs with this spec.

Another popular upgrade to these wheels are narrower rim options, whether aluminum or carbon, mounted to a variety of hub options.

Some riders will upgrade the wheels to more robust hub systems such as Chris King, Industry Nine or Onyx. If you’re shopping hubs it’s a good time to consider whether you’ll prefer aluminum rims like the WTB, RideFast or Factor or whether the improved power transfer and tracking of carbon like NOX or Ibis Carbon suit your riding.

Maxxis EXO Plus front tire and Double Down Rear are appropriate for this 180/165mm travel Enduro HD6.

Have a favorite tire combo? Let’s get you dialed in. Tires are a very personal feel and if you prefer an EXO Plus rear, or a Double Down front, or a DHF, Dissector, Aggressor, whatever – let’s get you setup right, right out of the box.

Have a grip / bar / stem combo you like? Let’s get you dialed.

Brakes are one of the most often swapped or upgraded points of any kit and the Ibis HD6 GX Complete is no different.

Popular Brake Swaps & Upgrades to the Ibis HD6 GX

We offer the best brakes from Shimano, TRP, Hope and Magura.

Getting brakes that compliment your riding style is important for your bike’s performance.

Ibis HD6 Geometry

Learn more about the Ibis HD6 GX Build geometry on the tabs below.

Ibis HD6 Geo

For HD6 geometry details or to compare the HD6 with other class leading Enduro bikes use these tabs.

The Ibis HD6 GX Build is available in sizes Small, Medium, Large, X-Large and XX-Large. With five available sizes the HD6 can be setup ideally for almost any rider.

For a planted, confident feel even in the biggest terrain the Ibis HD6 GX Build features a 64 degree headtube angle.

With the relaxed headtube angle riders find the wheelbase and trail measurements also add to the bike’s great trail feel.

The HD6 fit is going to be based around riders height, inseam, shoulder width and arm width.

Inseam will be a big factor for riders between Medium and Large as Ibis publishes a notable standover difference between these sizes.

On the X-Large and XX-Large the standover is published as equal meaning riders are going to be looking at their overall height as well the length of their arms and width of their shoulders.

The HD6 has geo and sizing that are to be expected in top tier Enduro bikes designed around relatively short stems and accommodating a range of bar height and rise depending on rider specifics.

Questions on sizing? Get in touch with our team and we are happy to go over your details to ensure we get you on the right size bike for your riding!
